Last updated: September 7, 2025

Who we are

This privacy policy describes how Bearly Obvious Games (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the mobile game SumDrop.

What data the game collects

The SumDrop game itself does not ask for, collect, or store personal information such as your name, email, or contacts. Gameplay data such as scores and settings are stored locally on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the game or clear the app’s data.

Advertising

SumDrop displays full-screen ads provided by Google AdMob. To deliver ads, AdMob may receive the device’s advertising identifier, approximate location, and basic device information.

Analytics and crash reporting

SumDrop uses Google Firebase services to help us understand how players use the game and to fix issues.

These services may process the following types of data:

This data is used only for analytics, improving app functionality, and advertising/marketing purposes. It is not linked to your real-world identity.

Children’s privacy

SumDrop is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at bearlyobvious@gmail.com so we can delete it.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with Google services (Firebase and AdMob) as necessary to provide analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. Firebase services act as our service provider, processing data on our behalf. AdMob processes data to serve ads, which may be considered sharing with a third party.

Data retention

We do not retain personal data directly. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics store data for analysis and reporting within Google’s systems. Ad-related data is processed by Google according to their own policies.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed on your device and through our advertising and analytics partners. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since we do not collect personal information directly, such requests are typically directed to Google as the provider of AdMob and Firebase services. You can also contact us at bearlyobvious@gmail.com, and we will assist where possible.

International transfers

Ads and analytics services may be provided from servers located outside your country. By using the game, you understand that information may be processed in these locations by Google.

Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
